Enjoy a tranquil relaxing break. We have 9 acres of garden and grounds, surrounded by vineyards and forests. There is no fixed breakfast time, we arrange that with you, as the idea is to de-stress.
    Things To Do
There are too many Chateaux and vineyards in the area to name them all, but most are open to the public for wine tasting and purchase, information is available please ask us. Chateaux St.Michel de Montaigne is walking distance from us and is a preserved XIV house where the famous philosopher of that name wrote many of his works. It is also possible to buy their Chateaux bottled wine there, but it is not compulsory. Montcaret itself has a Gallo-Roman museum where they have uncovered some wonderful mosaics in the local church grounds of a Roman villa formally on the site. The Dordogne river is only 15 minutes from us where there are all sorts of possibilities - including canoeing, rafting, boat trips and river swimming.

There are also the beautiful cliff dwellings of La Roque just south of us, where house were built into the side of the cliffs that border the river. Some of the houses are still lived in today.
