Overview
Chalet Lou Bochons is an amazing 200-year-old traditional Savoyard farmhouse, which has been converted into a very unique chalet. Many of the original features still exist including stone flag floors and wooden beamed ceilings. The chalet even has it’s own spring water supply! These features are blended with modern bathroom facilities to provide the spacious accommodation not normally found in a traditional ski chalet. The chalet also has a large private garden and balcony for enjoying the summer sunshine as well as facilities such as SKY TV, Hi-fi’s, Table Football etc. Owned and run by Chris & Allie, who provide a very relaxed personal service; the food has a high reputation, is all prepared by themselves and served with quality wines (no cheap plonk!). Guests can choose from either B&B or fully catered accommodation and outside BBQ’s are served once a week. The chalet is great for smaller or larger groups, including families who benefit from the space & private garden facilities on offer. Located just 5 mins from Morzine it has easy access to local walks, biking routes and the whole host of facilities that Morzine has to offer (open-air swimming pool, tennis courts, adventure parks, mountain biking etc).

Chalet "Lou Bochons" has been sympathetically modernised to provide all the facilities you'd expect to make your stay comfortable & relaxing. The chalet still retains its original ‘oldey-worldy' charm and provides * 5 Spacious Bedrooms & 4 bathrooms * Easily accommodates 10-12 adults * Original stone and pine flooring, oak beams and mantels * Converted dining room (from cowshed!) with window seats & beams * Huge 1st floor lounge with cast Iron Wood burner & high vaulted ceiling (the old hayloft) * Ground floor sitting room * Separate ‘cosy snug' * Our own Natural Spring Water…straight from the mountains to the taps!! In short, a wonderful and charming haven set in its own grounds at the foot of the Vallee De La Manche, with plenty of space and ‘hidey-holes' for those who prefer a little personal space now and again.
DOUBLE BEDROOM Sleeps 2; £180 - £210 / person / week The double bedrooms are on the First Floor - each with boundless character with alpine shuttered windows in odd places, beamed ceilings and solid wooden doors and many original features. Each has modernised en-suite bath or shower facilities. The beds are heavy wooden alpine style or wrought iron with Egyptian cotton sheets, snugly duvets and chenille throws. Each bedroom also has its own CD player and natural spring water on tap!. FAMILY BEDROOM Sleeps 4; £180 - £230 / person / week At 15ft x 14ft this has a double and 2 single beds but is spacious enough to also take an additional children's bed. At the foot of the stairs there is a separate WC with washbasin and occupants share a bathroom with one of the ensuite 1st floor bedrooms. Half price child discounts available.
